Indian Palace Speyer in Speyer

Unfortunately, I have to write a negative review. We had ordered here several times, always via the website and were actually satisfied so far. It is not an exceptionally good restaurant and a bit too expensive for the food on offer (for example chicken curry 4 euros more expensive than for example in Neustadt). But you accept all of that, then at least you get it delivered. But what is not possible is to be lied to! I had pre-ordered on the website at 5:00 p.m. (the restaurant opens at 6:00 p.m.) and also received a confirmation. At 7:00 p.m. I asked by phone how much longer it would take. Then came the statement that the website was shut down. Which of course wasn't true, because I had ordered it. When I realized that the food had not yet been cooked, I said yes, but you could cook it quickly and be there in 35 minutes. But then I canceled the order and said goodbye. Until then, I was a little annoyed, but everything was still within the limits. Less than a minute later the owner called back, the food had already been cooked and one was about to leave. I accepted and put my guests off for another 20 minutes. At 8:00 p.m. my patience was broken. I called again and asked where the food was going. Then came the question of what I would have ordered. So everything repeated again and then it apparently occurred to him who he had on the phone. He then consulted someone and hesitantly said that the driver was still on the way and would be coming soon. I had to ask several times how long it should take now. The statement that came next was 20 minutes longer. That's not how it works! I can understand when an order slips through, but I can't understand if you lie to your customers! We will not order any more here, we are going to Neustadt now and get our food there!

We ordered for 5 people by phone, and you can only say: great! 45 minutes later we were able to pick up everything, very nice staff and the food is just super delicious at reasonable prices. Absolutely to suggest!!! We had pakoras, chicken biryani, palak paneer, vegetarian kofte, murgh tikka masala, naan filled with peas and cheese, paratha salmonhedar and house-style prawns

As good as the food was on the first visit, on the second visit everything went wrong that could go wrong. There were four of us with a reservation and it was relatively full. In the next room there were 3 free tables including ours. The starter, different breads came after over 1 hour, there was the next table that came after us already finished with the main course. The main courses came 1.5 hours after the starters were cleared. The two tables that came after us had left again in the meantime. Somehow our order went under, the waiter offered to book the starter on the house. Unfortunately, the waiting time shouldn't be the only thing. We all wanted our food spicy but none of the food was spicy in the least. The lamb fillet was tough and the grilled chicken burned. The bill was then initially charged 3 more drinks, and the starters were also charged. I don't understand why you offer something and then take it back. At 35 per person that we paid, I expect a lot more, regardless of whether it is busy or not.

If I could then I wouldn't give a star. Order via Lieferando was still not on its way after two hours and two complaint calls. Staff was very rude on the phone and difficult to understand. I'm guaranteed not to order anything there.

Thanks to the Indian Palace team 🙏🏻. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is polite and attentive. The dining room is neat and clean, as are the sanitary facilities. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of Indian delicacies for meat lovers as well as for veggies. We will be very happy to eat here again. Price performance and taste are just great. Like every year, great ... We come to Speyer twice a year ... We ALWAYS eat there. Whether the buffet at lunchtime or the menu in the evening, like today. Soup, starter and main course, everything was very hot and EVERYTHING VERY, VERY DELICIOUS. If you like great Indian cuisine 👍 Very fast service and EVERYONE very friendly. You can ONLY recommend it😊👍🍀

There is a wide variety of tasty Indian dishes. There are drinks with and without alcohol (including cocktails). In good weather, seating is also available in front of the restaurant. Friendly service. Fair prices. Some parking spaces are available directly in front of the restaurant, others in the vicinity

A great Indian restaurant. The restaurant is in the heart of speyer with a great view of the cathedral. The plates are cleaned again with a white cloth before serving. The dishes are top quality and the presentation of the food is very demanding. Price performance top.

The best Indian restaurant in Germany. Alot of asian cuisine is made for the European palate but these giys(if you request) make it really authentic.

Really good place and the service was great

We went there for an business meeting (summer 2019) and got a table in the small side room. We had a friendly waiter, good and reasonable priced food. Therefore saved in my list and to recommend. Enjoy your stay.

We like to visit this resturant but unfortunately today foods from buffet not so tasty, chicken curry was the worst one as well the nan brot. Rice was hard to eat with some bad smell, service was not good, both the staffs were not attentive and don't have manner also, the oldman was not good enough capable to serve, drinks come late and not cold. Toilet was not perfect to use. Should focus on retaining customers. Not happy but wish all the best.

This is our first experience and unfortunately it was very bad. So much noisy environment. Service was not good, the man was not sincere and no attention to his work at all. Unfortunately no food from the buffet makes real indian taste. It looks like just the mixture of water and food ingredients nothing else. Hope to visit there in future with some betterment.

I travel to India often and take colleagues there. The opinion is unanimous: place looks nice, food is good and tastes original. Have been 3-4 times already and will be back.

Good environment and well decorated. Every week I visit there with my family and friends but unfortunately the food taste is decreasing day by day and honestly speaking recently we are not satisfied with the service provide by the old man. I wish the better in future.

Being a local of Speyer and considering the only earlier Indian restaurant shut, I decided to visit the newly opened one for a noon-buffet today. Restaurant has a pretty decent ambience and cleanly maintained. Sufficient parking place to park in front of the building. The staff welcome was warm and friendly. As planned we hit the buffet area… there were 3 different vegetarian curries and 2 chicken dishes as the main dish. Additionally, rice, naan (Indian bread) and papadam were part of buffet. One drink (coke & co, Lassi etc.,) of choice is included in the price. The starter - day’s soup wasn’t great in taste - a little more on sour side. Curries offered were good, but could be better with more spices to give an authentic Indian touch. The chicken tandoor served was totally cold and so also the papadam not at all crispy. The tandoors or any Indian meat fries tastes good when eaten hot. The rice included was good and was warm. Overall the experience was OK (3*)! Room for improvement would be - serving hot as much as possible, at least the Naan. Would certainly try there next time for a dinner; in seek of a better experience. Keep tuned ;)

Myself being From India is very sceptical of getting good Indian food outside India specially in Interior europe.. but this place INDIAN PALACE SPEYER is a good find to eat authenticate Indian food , if you are in area and fancy eating Indian cuisine ... this is the place to get into..enjoy the food.
